The area under the hood to access valve stem seals using the straight style valve stem pliers has become encumbered with manifolds, wires, tubes and linkages. The professional technician now has less room and more difficulty accessing valve stem seals.   This new tool can be used in areas of restricted access through an innovative rotating jaw assembly.  This design allows the plier handles to rotate to any position above the head while the jaw assembly goes down into the spring cavity.  These pliers can be used straight or at any angle up to as far as a full 90°.   The jaw tip is also innovative, in that it has a thin ledge for "hooking" underneath stubborn valve stem seals.  There are also four vertical raised ridges on the inner diameter of the jaws to aid in gripping the outside diameter of the valve stem seal.
